Hello friend, my name is A. David Singh. Welcome to my website. I am privileged to have you here.
Do you ever feel that the more you achieve, more and more challenges keep piling up? It’s almost as if the universe is punishing you for being successful.
If you are like most of my readers, it is likely you have had these experiences in your own professional life.
I know how you feel because I have been there too. During my transition from a medical student to a neurosurgery trainee and then to a neurosurgeon, the challenges that I faced kept multiplying exponentially.
And, from what I have learnt, the solution to these rapidly proliferating challenges, that accompany success, lies in recognizing their uniqueness and recalibrating one’s response to the nature of those challenges.
Through my writing, my mission is to motivate overwhelmed professionals by handing them tools to overcome self-doubt and frustration, so that they may navigate setbacks with resilience and become indomitable.
In my blog, I write about the intrigues and adventures from ancient worlds and highlight the motivational messages behind those stories. When you engage with my blog, you will realize that these stories are carefully chosen to provide motivation to you when you are battling life challenges.
I usually write once or twice a month. And I would love to share my words with you and help you face life’s challenges with resilience. That may seem like a tall order, but believe me, each one of us have the potential of becoming indomitable—and that potential is just waiting to be unlocked within you.
By clicking on the button below, you will give me permission to inform you about my latest stories that contain messages aimed to empower you. In addition, you can immediately download my free ebook Caesar: Escapades in Rome containing ten such stories to get you started on your journey.
At the age of fourteen, when I read The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas, my fascination for historical fiction began. The grandeur of bygone eras, kings and queens, battle-hardened warriors, wars and quests, plots and intrigues appealed to the teenage lad within me. But more importantly, the lessons that those ancient tales taught me gradually became a part of my own life, and I continue to learn from them even today.
Later, years rolled by—medical college and then neurosurgery training—when my literary activities took a back seat. But movies like The Man in the Iron Mask and King Arthur kept me thirsting for the aura of history, and I knew there were more lessons waiting to be learnt.
My latest book, co-authored with Swati Chavda, is Ignite: Beat Burnout & Rekindle your Inner Fire.
When you read Ignite, you march alongside Alexander’s army and then walk in the footsteps of Julius Caesar. Finally, you return to the 21st century to discover what leads to burnout—and how to beat it, to rekindle your inner fire.
I have been married to Swati for ten years, and we often collaborate on literary projects.
We live under the protection of a lively and adorable sixteen-year-old quadruped called Puppy, whose indomitable spirit has guided many of our life decisions.
By now, Puppy has even managed to instil a small measure of his spirit in us!
